TOTAL IMMERSION
Language Spa in French and Dutch
Learn French or Dutch as if grown
up with it in the splendid surroundings of the Ecohome Cottage
Language Spa courses are held all year round on basis of private
tuition. Individual training Monday through Friday (or with
weekend) following pioneering teaching techniques that are
100% geared to your professional and communication needs.
With 70 hours of intensive language practice a week or 14
hours a day in a pleasant, healthy environnement , you get
more speaking confidence than in years of classical education.
But our suggestopedic success in total immersion is the result
of cultivating an optimal learning climate. Therefore the
minimum stay for our students has been set at three successive
days. Modular: you module the rest whenever you want.
Standard Total Immersion daily
program:
07:00 : Smooth wake-up
07:30 : Repetition:
Repeat memo-technical sentences from previous day
08:30 : Total Immersion Breakfast
Teacher accompanied, coffee or tea with farm-milk, toasts
with farm-butter, home-made marmalade, cheese, fresh eggs,
regional honey, ham…
09:00 : Total Immersion Communication
lesson MOD1:
Structural exercises on memo-sentences. Spontaneous speaking
and story-telling, quiz, vocabulary (100 new words per day).
Recording memo-sentences.
10:30 : Break in the Zen-garden or
at the Winter-terrace.
Possibility to discuss in the language to be learned with
teachers and other course-participants during the coffee/tea
break.
Possibility for communication through internet, cell-phone.
11:00 : Total Immersion Audio-visual
lesson MOD2:
Structural exercises on the memo-sentences.
Text-recognition, vocabulary-development and exercising sentence
structures on basis of news-sequence, video-recording in your
domain. Recording memo-sentences.
12:00-13:30 : Total Immersion Group
lunch with dialogue
Synchronising listening and spontaneous expression. Enjoy
regional products and –recipes with teacher and other
participants and invitees in the Language Spa, or Mont-Garni
Golf Clubhouse.
14:00-15:30 : Total Immersion Roll-Play,
situation lesson MOD3:
Structure-exercises of memo-sentences
• Phone-call discussion, adapted to your work, business
situation
• Reading emails and reports
• Prepare a talk/application visit/promotion-discussion
• Realistic professional situations: promotional meetings,
briefings etc…
• A reception, find your way in town, shopping…
Recording memo-sentences
And/or: Words in context:
• Vocabulary-development on basis of an object/article,
your own (work)documentation, work- or sales-meeting to be
planned
• Preparing a talk or exam together
15:30 : Break in the Zen-garden or
at the Winter-terrace
During this break there is ample possibility to discuss with
other teachers/course participants in the language-to-be-learned.
Possibility to communicate through internet or cell-phone.
16:00-19:00 : Total Immersion
Sports and leisure
Golf (to be paid on the spot), horse-riding (to be paid on
the spot), biking, walking, sauna, Jacuzzi, massage (to be
paid on the spot), yoga-meditation, cooking.
19:00 Total Immersion Supper: Join
the teacher-family at the supper-table
Synchronising listening and spontaneous expression. Enjoy
regional products and –recipes with teacher and other
participants and guests in the Language Spa, or Mont-Garni
Golf Clubhouse.
20:00 Total Immersion TV: Watch the
news together MOD4:
The 8 o´clock news, selecting the best-suited sequence
for the next audio-visual lesson.
20:30 Accompanied studying and exercises
Memorising vocabulary, structures with teacher at hand or
internet in all rooms.
Stay overnight in a comfortable single room with view of
the wonderfully quite surroundings
Flexibility: The standard program may be adapted to
the participants´ wishes, before or after the start
of the course.

€/day) + VAT 6 % 4 modules x 1,5 hour /day , 14 hours

Halfday Mod 1 + Mod 2 + Coaching : 200 €/day (between
8 am to 14.00)
Workday Mod 1 + Mod 2 + Mod 3 + Coaching : 275 €/day
(between 8 and 17h30)
Fullday Mod 1 + Mod 2 + Mod 3 + Mod 4 – Coaching: 350
